Public Concern About Indoor POLLUTING OF THE ENVIRONMENT Environmental Sciences Essay

Nowadays, public concern about indoor polluting of the environment and its effects on health among community still in a poor level. Most of them didn't realize today's of indoor polluting of the environment on their area. Principal categories of indoor air contaminants contain combustion products, chemical substance products, radon, and biological agents. Indoor air pollution identifies the physical, chemical type, and natural characteristics of air in the indoor environment within a home, building, or an establishment or commercial center. People spend more of their own time indoor and extra time inside vehicles hence, they can be more subjected to indoor air pollution compared to outdoor air pollution. Scientific facts has suggested that the air within homes and other general public and office properties can become more very seriously polluted than the outdoor air thus fascinated expanded research upon this topic.

An interior air pollutant comes from variety resources. Most homes have significantly more than one source that contributes to inside air problems (Saravanan, 2004). Today, indoors air pollution triggered by getting rid of of traditional sturdy fuels such as woodfuel, agricultural residues, and dried creature dung in unvented cookstoves in rural areas of developing countries is not much not the same as that of the past (Oanh and Hung, 2005). The most frequent sources of indoors polluting of the environment are environment tobacco smoke. The combination of smoke originates from cigarette and exhaled by smoker which contain more than 4000 materials and can result in cancers. Radon also one of the in house air pollutant and the most typical is uranium. Radon gas enters homes through dirt and grime floor, splits in concrete walls and floor, floor drains and sump pushes. Radon also can cause cancer. Combustion product which originates from woodstoves, fireplaces, gas stoves and unvented kerosene is the resources of indoor air pollution. All of these can produce skin tightening and, nitrogen dioxide and contaminants. Lead comes from lead-based paint, polluted soil and particles and normal water. At the higher level of lead can cause coma and even loss of life. Lead has been determined as one of the indoor polluting of the environment sources. Most of us did not recognize that every day we inhaled polluted air and it comes from our very own house. Many home products has been a causes of this problem because its contain organics chemical substance. All of these products can release organic and natural compounds when using them. One of the most common indoor air pollutants called biological contaminants. There are many different kinds which include dirt from mites, bacteria, infections, molds, pollen and animal dander. Formaldehydes result from the pressed wood products and furniture made with these pressed solid wood products also indoors air pollutant. Formaldehyde emissions will generally reduce as product time. When the merchandise are new, high indoor temp or moisture can cause increased released of formaldehyde from the products. Next pollutant resources are asbestos. Asbestos is a mineral fiber that is used generally as building building materials for insulation so that as a fire-retardant. Once they are inhaled, they can continue to be and gather in the lung. It could give bad impact to the the respiratory system. Other way to obtain in house air pollutant comes from pesticides. In addition, it include products control insect, termites, radon, fungi, and microbes.

Many people spend 80-90% with their lives indoors, thus the higher level of in house air pollutants increases the personal publicity and following health results, which probably has more impact than contact with ambient air (Oanh and Hung, 2005). In addition, those who are more revealed in a longer periods and frequently to indoor air contaminants has a higher probability to effect in suffering from respiratory or cardiovascular disease especially children. Proof implies that long-term exposure to indoor air pollution can contributes to serious respiratory health problems. Indoor polluting of the environment can result in many harmful health effect mainly involve respiratory system. Exposure to interior polluting of the environment can cause both serious (short term) and chronic (permanent) health result. Acute health result is unexpected and severe coverage and quick absorption of the chemical which can cause vision irritation, throbbing headache and nausea. Persistent health effect is characterized repeated publicity of many days, month, or years and the symptoms may well not be immediately appearance such as cancer tumor. The most frequent effects are lung cancer and heart and soul problem. The seriousness of results is determined by the degrees of indoor contaminants, the subjection period, and the nature of the contaminants. (Oanh and Hung 2005).

Mitigation step should be studied in order to reduce the effect of indoor polluting of the environment and protect folks from further damage of health. This can be done through the elimination of or handling the sources of pollution like the uses of home product. We are able to eliminate or limit the uses of the product in our house. We also should increase the ventilation system inside our house, office, or any building to make the movement of air to inside or outside and good air exchange rate. Then, we can also set up air cleaning devices such as exhaust supporter in kitchens and restrooms. This mitigation work also should be taken by authorities especially to perform or control the emission of greenhouse gases from factories or vehicles which also can donate to the indoor air pollution by introducing products or devices. For example catalytic converter to the vehicles as well as for market sectors, the scrubbers and electrostatic precipitator or electrostatic air cleanser. Many of these devices can help and providing air pollution under control. Catalytic converter is used by vehicle manufacturers to lessen the quantity of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in a car's exhaust. The converter consists of a catalyst that oxidized these materials to skin tightening and and water. For market sectors, scrubbers and precipitators are widely-used. Scrubber systems are a diverse group of air pollution control devices you can use to remove some particulate or gaseous from industrial exhaust streams. Its work by use water or a dry out reagent to "scrub" unwanted pollutants from the stream. Scrubbers are one of the principal devices that control gaseous emission to air. An electrostatic precipitator is a particulate collection device that takes out particulates from a flowing gas using the power of an induced electrostatic demand. They may be highly efficient filtration devices that minimally block the flow of gases through the device, and may easily remove fine particulate subject from mid-air stream.

The concentrate on in performing this research proposal is to identify the resources of indoor air pollution because most of folks still didn't know what is indoor polluting of the environment and what sources has cause this air pollution. This research proposal also offers been proposed to observe the result of indoor air pollution to the human health as the previous research demonstrates mostly people didn't realize that the illness that they get are from the in house air pollutants. And last target of the research is to review the alternatives in reducing the effect of indoor polluting of the environment to human health since the health problem triggered by indoor air pollution increased nowadays, many mitigation result should be recognize and practice in order to identify and decrease the indoor air pollutant resources.

The important of the research proposal is to open the eyes of mostly folks who are still did not know about the indoor air pollution, the sources and the bad aftereffect of this pollution. Besides that, by doing this research proposal, we can multiply and notify people the info of indoor polluting of the environment and provide them the best ways to mitigate this air pollution and also to understand and reduce this pollutant options in their lifestyle.

OBJECTIVES

To identify the resources of indoor polluting of the environment.

To observe the effect of inside polluting of the environment to the human being health.

To analyze the alternatives in reducing the effect of indoor polluting of the environment to individuals health.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Component of books review:-

Introduction

There are extensive research have been created by many experts about the indoor air pollution. May of the declare that the indoor air pollution can occurs in the rooms, houses or structures that did not have an equilibrium rate of exchange of indoor air and outdoor air. The research on indoor polluting of the environment has been done by John in 2000 and he mentioned that the in house air quality (IAQ) in virtually any building can be affected by microbial contaminants (mold, bacteria), chemicals (such as carbon monoxide, formaldehyde), allergens, or any mass or energy stressor that can cause health effects. Based on this declaration, we can know a little bit about what are actually indoor air pollution and its characteristics.

As many of us spend the greater times of our lives in house, thus the interior environment of homes and offices is often more seriously polluted than the outdoor atmosphere. This makes the potential risks to health may be higher due to the higher articles of indoor air contaminants than the outdoor air contaminants. Research by Saravanan in 2004 found that the major resources of indoor air pollution are the ones that release gas and debris into air, and inadequate ventilation makes the situation much worse. With this research also says a few of the major factors that determine the quality of inside air such as:-

The aspect of outdoor quality of air around the building.

The air exchange rate of the building (ventilation).

The materials found in the development of the building (occurrence of chemicals).

The activities that go on inside the building (cleaning, cooking, warming etc. ).

Use of household chemicals.

Another study done by Lizaridis in 2011 also says that people spent about 85% of their time indoors and additional 3% inside vehicles. Which means that no inside homes or building people can get indoor polluting of the environment, but also inside the vehicles or vehicles, therefore people are exposed to gaseous air contaminants and particulate subject from both outdoor sources and through infiltration of outdoor air and inside options. She also state that this content of indoor polluting of the environment inside homes, buildings, automobiles or vehicles may have different structure and perhaps different toxicities. High toxicities can cause harmful and bad effect to individual health especially respiratory system illness.

Another analysis done by Kamaruzzaman and Sabrani in 2011. Research workers have discovered that pollutants in interior air occur more regularly and at higher concentrations than in outdoor air. Therefore, it is clear that in house air has generated major source for environmental contact with air pollutants rather than outdoor. The air quality inside buildings, homes and vehicles are influenced and influences by many factors. In order to save energy, modern building and homes design has favoured tighter constructions with low rates of ventilation which can caused unbalances exchange of air to outside and inside.

Pollutant sources of indoors air pollution

Study done by Syazwan in '09 2009 found that the factor that added to indoor air pollution is poor maintenance and services of heating, ventilation and air-con. These factors can increase inside polluting of the environment level in homes and building. Ventilation play important role in the house or building since it regulate and control the movement of air into and outdoor. The exchange of air should be balance.

Saravanan review in year 2004 demonstrates indoor air pollution produced by many resources includes from outside and inside the homes and building. There are plenty of sources of pollutant indoor air pollution we generate each day in our daily life. The important in house air contaminants are produced by losing of essential oil, gas, kerosene, hardwood and tobacco products or made by building materials, fixtures, wet or wet carpets, household chemical products, air conditioning equipment, dehumidifiers and outdoor sources originates from radon and pesticides. Many research and research by experts found that inadequate ventilation can increase inside air pollution level because there is no sufficient air activity to dilute the emissions from interior sources and take them out of homes. The more it accumulates inside homes or building, the bigger the amount of indoor polluting of the environment. Many of these can give bad effect to your health.

Most common indoor air pollutant stated in the study done by Saravanan are cigarette smoking, biological contaminants, inside combustion, volatile organic ingredients (VOC), radon, formaldehyde, particulate subject, pesticides, and lead. Smokers easily exhaled their smokes to the surrounding without knowing that the smokes are really dangerous to others people health. this is because, tobacco smoke contains a complex combination of over 4000 substances, more that 40 which are known to cause tumors, and as many are strong irritants. Smoking inside the house and building brought on for large amounts of indoor contaminants. Besides that, tobacco smoke is another source of formaldehyde. Biological impurities include pollen, bacterias, fungal spores, mildew and so many more. All of these can be made by unbalanced wetness inside homes and building. Other resources are in house combustion such as combustion of fuels like kerosene, essential oil, gas and many more. It can contribute to the awareness of volatile organic and natural materials inside the homes and building. Volatile organic compound includes aliphatic and aromatic compounds. Many organic substances are emitted from engineering materials, home furniture and consumer products such as latex paints. Radon became most famous contributes to in house air pollutants nowadays. Commonly, radon enters homes through well drinking water, penetrates through breaks in buildings and then released into the indoors atmosphere. Radon mainly associated with radioactivity inside the building and homes. Formaldehydes result from many options. It come from cigarette smoking, it also originates from particle boards, plywood, urea formaldehydes foam and furniture. Other sources of indoors air pollutant are pesticides comes from moth repellants, insecticides termiticides and more pesticides. These products can pollute indoors air. Next is lead. Lead also dangerous and can lead to indoor air pollution. It comes from lead based coloring, contaminated soil and contaminated drinking water.

Studies of interior air pollution in cities done by Spengler and Soczek in 1984 shows that indoor air pollution levels sometimes go beyond those outdoor because of the existence of significant in house sources-fuel burning devices, tobacco smoking, household chemical use, etc.

Studies done by Oanh and Hung characterized sources of indoor air pollution into certain categories which includes combustion products, substance products, radon, and biological agents. The build up of the merchandise and materials into high focus can be cause by limited ventilations. Interior air pollutants can directly emitted from many sources in essence from house activities such as preparing by cookstoves, heaters, tobacco smoking, building materials and pest control chemicals. In house air pollutants also emitted from outdoor but from different sources such as volatile organic and natural materials (VOC) from photochemical sectors or vehicles.

Effect of in house polluting of the environment to human health

Many researches express the consequences of indoor polluting of the environment especially to your respiratory systems in their research. Buchman has done his study in 1992 and declare that indoor air pollution can also cause following in societal and cost-effective conditions. In economic issues, multimillion money lawsuits have been reported for compensation for poor ventilation system in building and house and there are many building reconstruction in order to increase the efficiency of ventilation system. Only after many situations are accepted which brought on by indoor polluting of the environment, they realized that how really important is the correct and productive ventilation system in homes and building. As we realize that ventilation system is important to balance the speed of air movement to inside and outside the homes and building.

Oanh and Hung also has a same view with Buchman, 1992 and claims that indoor air pollution will cause subsequent societal and cost-effective conditions. Same information about payment and renovation of creating that may influence economic areas. Others are stress about the result of this pollution to real human health. Oanh and Hung states in their analysis in 2005 that the result of indoor air contaminants to medical may be experienced soon after the visibility or, possibly, years later. This effect called chronic impact and acute impact. Chronic effect characterized repeated visibility of many times, months, or years and the symptoms may well not be immediately appearance. Acute result is the abrupt and severe exposure and speedy absorption of the compound and the effect may be experience soon after the visibility. Immediate and short-term results, including irritability of the eye, nose, and neck, head aches, dizziness, and fatigue, may be viewed after an individual publicity or repeated exposures. These results are usually treatable and sometimes the procedure is simply reduction of the exposure to the pollution sources. Symptoms of some diseases, including asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and humidifier fever, could also show up immediately after exposure to certain in house air contaminants. The longer-term effects can be severely weakening or fatal; they include some breathing diseases, heart disease, and cancer. Besides that, in this research, the writer declares a few prominent conditions related to the interior polluting of the environment. First is Legionnaire's disease which has been determined in 1976. This disease shows pneumonialike symptoms such as high fever, frustration, lung consolidation, respiratory system failure and death. The diseases are located has been brought on by rod-shaped bacterias. 'The outbreak of the condition in the 1976 Legion convention was associated with aerosols drifting from a chilling tower (of the central air-con system) of the hotel', Oanh and Hung, 2005. Cooling towers, whirlpool baths, showers and breathing equipment is the exemplory case of aerosol-producing devices which can distributed the condition. The bacteria can also cause another nonpneumonic and nonfatal disease like Pontiac fever. By treat chilling tower and evaporative condenser normal water with biocidal chemical, the transmission of this disease can be slower and can be control. Other disease that is mention by Oanh and Hung in their research is tired building symptoms. The symptoms of this disease are of nonspecific mother nature like headache, attention, and nose discomfort, breathing diseases (neck soreness, shortness of breath), neurotoxic disease (dizziness), and general exhaustion and malaise. But, the symptoms cannot be followed to specific resources. The major causes of the disease have been recognized such as inadequate ventilation, chemical contaminants, and microbial contaminants. The most recent causes are limited ventilation. Oanh and Hung also mentioned few specific inside air pollution and its own health effect such as radon, cigarette smoking, asbestos, biological contaminants, pollutants from combustion resources and other interior air contaminants. Uranium is an example of radon which is a commendable gas which is colourless, odorless and the radioactive. It really is made by the decaying process in earth or rock and roll. Usually, radon can be found above the homes or floor and can enter to the in house environment by crack floor, floor drains and sumps. It also can type in homes by water well. Radon can gives chronic health result and its shows no immediate effect after the visibility but usually radon disease are related to the lung tumor. As people know that tobacco smoke cigars contain over 4000 mixture and even more than 40 which are recognized to give harmful effect to humans or family pets health such as cancer tumor. A few types of tobacco smoke compounds are nicotine, acrolein, cyanide, nitrosamines and so forth. The cigarette smoking can give effect not only the smoker itself but also to the who inhaled back what the tobacco smokers has exhaled after them inhaled the cigarette. The most detrimental result is to the people who inhaled back what the smoker has exhaled. It is due to synergistic ramifications of the toxic pollutants present in the smoke with other indoors air pollutants such as combustion products and biological contaminations. The effect is more to the respiratory disease such as lung malignancy, cardiovascular and broncho-pulmonary disease. Medical effects of cigarette smoking on smoker are breathing diseases, cardiovascular diseases, lung cancers and other malignancies. Next sources pollutants are asbestos which is widely used as roof covering and roof as it is level of resistance to heat up and open fire for insulation and fireplace protection. Asbestos can also be found in older homes, pipe and furnace materials, asbestos shingles mildboard, textured paints and other finish materials and floor tiles. 'Health ramifications of asbestos fibers be based upon chemical type and physical characteristics such as size, quantity and surface charge', Oanh and Hung, 2005. There are four related disease to asbestos visibility; lung cancer, mesothelioma, asbestosis, and nonmalingnant pleural disease. The symptoms of the result do not show immediately after the initial coverage and this is called chronic effect. Types of biological contaminants are molds, mildews, pollens, viruses, bacteria, animal dander and dusts. The famous effects of biological pollutants are allergens. Some of the symptoms of health results include sneezing, watery eyes, coughing, shortness of breathing, dizziness, fatigue, fever and digestive problems. 'Children, seniors, and people with breathing problems, allergy symptoms and lung disease are especially vunerable to disease-causing biological brokers in the inside air', Oanh and Hung, 2005. Furthermore, the most dangerous and powerful natural agencies are house particles mites which develop in wet and warm conditions. This agent can cause asthma. Next sources of indoor air contaminants are pollutants from combustion sources. 'Combustion sources of indoor air pollution include open baking fires, tobacco smoking, unvented cookstoves and space heaters and vented devices with improperly installed flue pipes', Oanh and Hung, 2005. These contaminants can cause persistent obstructive pulmonary disease, and trachea, bronchus and lung tumor. Other in house air pollutants such as are ozone and lead also has been most concern contaminants nowadays. Ozone indoors may release from office and local equipment such as photocopying machines, commercial electrostatic air cleaners and ion generators. Ozone can damage lung and other breathing functions. The exposure of ozone can also cause nose and throat soreness and upper body constriction. Lead can be utilized in paint, gasoline, water pipes yet others. 'Lead affects pretty much all systems within the body' Oanh and Hung, 2005. At high attention and accumulations of lead can induced convultions, coma, and even death. Lower concentration of lead can provide result to brain, central stressed system, blood skin cells and kidneys. The effect of lead can be undesirable to fetuses and young children such as delays in physical and mental development, lower IQ levels, shortened attention spans and increased behavioral problems. Usually, children are more risk in having business lead exposure than people because lead are easily soaked up in growing tissue and the tissues of small children are more sensitive to the detrimental effects of business lead. ' Lead internal dust is known as to be the major risk factor for high lead levels in bloodstream in children', Oanh and Hung, 2005.

Smith done his research on the metropolitan polluting of the environment and using tobacco in 1986 found the number of classes of ill health that could be expected from the types and the levels of air pollution visibility in the villager houses. The classes includes:-

Chronic obstructive lung diseases such as long-term bronchitis and associated center conditions such as cor pulmonale, which is pathological enlargement of the right part of the heart and soul because of level of resistance to blood circulation through the lungs.

Acute breathing diseases because the the respiratory system is less in a position to protect itself against an infection.

Low beginning weights and associated raised mortality and morbidity of several kinds in infants delivered of mothers uncovered during pregnancy.

Respiratory system cancers, especially of the lung.

These classes can grouped the level of health conditions on the list of villagers. These 4 classes of ill health are dangerous if there are no action is taken in order to reduce or avoid the increasing of interior air pollution of their house or building.

Torrest-Duque in 2008 claims that in 2000, indoor polluting of the environment was in charge of over 1. 6 million deaths and about 3% of the global burden of disease. With the deaths, acute respiratory system attacks accounted for 59% and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases almost 41%, leaving lung cancers as a comparatively trivial contributor. This shows that health diseases related to the respiratory system has been increased and triggered by indoor polluting of the environment. The record shows the evidence to the people about how precisely dangerous is interior polluting of the environment to the real human health insurance and it can cause not only tumor but can also cause fatality. Other global burden of disease includes HIV and Supports, tobacco smoking, over weight and indoor air pollution also one of the list.

Preventive measure

Without knowing where the sources come, we cannot prevent the pollution from occurs. By knowing the sources and where it comes, we can find the effective ways to be able to reduce preventing it turn most severe in our lifestyle activities. Oanh and Hung in their studies declare that awareness of the type and volume of potential resources is the most crucial step in effort to reduce in house polluting of the environment and explained it as an activity for indoor air pollution management. First, we have to diagnosing indoor air quality problems inside our homes or properties. We can diagnosing it by using several steps including the symptoms of health effects, potential indoor polluting of the environment sources, life styles and activities and the indications of venting problems. By looking at these characteristics, we can know whether you can find indoor air pollution in the homes or building. Types of indicator of health are eye irritations, dizziness, frustration and etc. Potential interior air pollutions resources include construction materials of homes or building such as roofing manufactured from asbestos. Life-style and activities such as uses of cooking food sources can indicate the occurrence of indoor air pollution. As well as the efficiency of ventilation systems in building or homes can determine the amount of indoor air pollution. After diagnosing in house quality of air problems in building, we can move forward either monitoring indoors air or control strategies which are more to dealing with problem. You will find three step that are mentioned by Oanh and Hung in their studies. First is air flow. Ventilation is very important things that people should give more motive. This is because ventilation takes on important role in charge our air regulation rates in homes or building. Every houses and building really needs a good and productive ventilation system to control air rates and comfort environment inside houses and properties. Next inclination step is source management and coverage control. Oanh and Hung said that reduced amount of indoor air pollution level may be accomplished through the source emission reduction, reduction of contaminants inflow from outdoors and increase outflow of contaminants from indoors and increase of air pollutant sinks. However, we can not totally get rid of the resources and it may well not be practical. The third step is air cleanser. But, indoor air cleaning is effective only in blend with efforts to eliminate the options. Besides that, Oanh and Hung also condition the management of indoor pollutant resources such as radon, cigarette smoke cigarettes, combustion product in homes, asbestos, organic and natural pollutants from household products, contaminants from home chemicals, and etc.

In the way to mitigate the transmission of radon to the inside environment, the correct design of residences during the development is highly recommended. This can prevent the entering of radon to the residences. The techniques that applicable is the selection of building sites with low permeable dirt, changes of sites by detatching high-radium-containing subsoil, or cover the ground surface with low-radium-containing garden soil, which includes high amount of resistance to ground gas stream, and designing properties with minimum radon visibility. 3 techniques mentioned can be considered during the engineering of properties. For the prevailing houses, also should have some modification on the houses design to reduce the subjection of radon. First is use of diffusion barrier/sealants made of nonpermeable materials to seal splits to avoid the flow of radon. Second is the use of suction followers to exhaust dirt gas from beneath building and substructure to prevent the admittance of radon into cellar and the third techniques is house pressurization to set-up outward airflow direction. The best way to avoid the emission of cigarette smoke in house or public complexes is by ban the smoking. Besides that, we also should improve the air flow systems in the places which smoking takes place. But, this mitigation work only reduces the gas emission from the tobacco smoking and not eliminates it. A next way to obtain indoor air pollutant is combustion products in homes. The resources are from the combustion gadgets cooking and heating devices. The sources can be manipulated from emitted more indoors air pollutants such as uses of cleaner fuels and clear-burning devices, optimization of procedure and maintenance of appliances, and installation of proper flue gas system to vent out smoke cigarettes. Besides that, by changed coal and oil stoves or woodstoves with electrical appliances for food preparation and space heating system will produce cleaner air to the in house environment. Oanh and Hung also provide mitigation step for asbestos. Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials (ACM) can produce dirt and particles that can certainly inhaled by human respiratory. Asbestos usually use as roof structure on houses or building and the best way to reduce and stop the contribution of this sources to interior air pollution, we should all the uses of asbestos in structure of airtight, rooftop or ceiling in our residences. Besides that, the periodical inspection should be conducted for any damage of ACM. Next sources are organic-pollutants from home materials. The preventive measure should be began by the manufacturer of the household products by produce more safe products. Consumers also should know and prevent from use the product which is emitted the interior air pollutant. Oanh and Hung mentioned 5 prevention solution by consumer for decrease emission of inside air pollutant resources;' evaluate and choose low-VOC-impact building materials and products, precondition materials such as carpets and furniture, to reduce emissions before set up, install building materials and products predicated on their VOC decay rates(aging), ventilate structures during and after installing new materials and products and delay occupancy until VOC concentrations has been reduced adequately'. Contaminants from household chemical such as pesticides, timber chemical preservatives, air fresheners and etc also one of the indoors air pollutants sources. Oanh and Hung mentioned that 'the proper choice of substance formulations, appropriate program method, program rate, and techniques can help reduce the dangers associated with these chemicals'.

Saravanan also refer to about the same mitigation steps in lowering preventing the increasing of in house polluting of the environment in his studies in 2004. His pressure on the eliminating or controlling the sources of air pollution in homes, apartment and office buildings. Same like others researches, Saravanan said that venting system is important devices in controlling indoor polluting of the environment and it could be done by increasing ventilation and putting in air-cleaning devices. His also talk about that people should take other necessary safety measures to minimize and get rid of the aftereffect of this pollution even as we spend large part of our life indoors.

Important to try and reverse the destruction caused by previous exposure after the decrease or discontinues of contact with indoor air pollution to strengthen the body's defense system so that it can fight future damage. By firmly taking a good, balances nourishment, including antioxidants and vitamin supplement where necessary, the strengthen of body's defense may be accomplished. This view has been discussed by Oluwole in 2012 and can be employed by individuals who have been exposed to the indoor air pollution in a longer period.
