From Humble Origins to Presidency:
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was created on 15 Oct 1931 at Dhanushkodi, Rameswaram Ditrict of Tamil Nadu.
He was neither educated abroad, nor was his family economically so strong to aid his academics pursuits. His father rented boats to pay for Kalam's institution fees. Disappointed, he been to Rishikesh and bathed in Ganga and met Swami Sivananda to whom he described his situation. Swami ji didn't react to his Muslim identity and continued to guide him by declaring this is the destiny and he should go forward in his life and surrender to the desires of God. After his go back to Delhi, Kalam accepted the work at DTD & P as a mature scientific assistant. He lost his resentment of failing, thinking he'd have the ability to make aeroplanes airworthy if not journey them. On Dec 8, 2000, the Deputy Chairman of Planning Fee, Shri K. C. Pant conferred the "Life-time Contribution Honor in Executive 2000" on Dr A. P. J. Dr. Kalam: The Human

Kalam was learning in 5th school at the age of 10 when he was presented with a vision for his life. He previously a professor, Shri Siva Subramania Iyer. He was a good teacher. 1 day he was educating about bird's flight. He drew a diagram of your bird on the blackboard depicting the wings, tail and your body structure with the head. He explained how the wild birds create the lift up and journey. He also explained the way they change route while flying. Almost 25 minutes he offered the lecture with various information such as lift up, drag and how the birds fly in a creation of 10, 20 or 30 etc. By the end of the school, he wished to know if the students understood how the birds soar, to which Kalam replied he didn't understand. When he said this, he asked the other students if they comprehended or not. Many students said that they didn't understand. Hence, the teacher took the students to the beach that night and asked them to see how the bird flapped their wings, twisted their tales to give guidelines to the airline flight and used their will, determination and own life to do something as the engine of their flight. The theory in conjunction with practical example gave Kalam the goal and mission in life. He worked well towards getting started with aeronautical engineering in MIT, Chennai
