Recent Developments
In 2009 Leading Inn launched 'Top Offers' - a Ј29 special rate for leisure and business guests. To date, two million rooms have been released at Ј29 with the advertising set to keep in 2010 2010. Top Inn in addition has launched a fresh look website at www. premierinn. com with an increase of hotel details, easier scheduling, interactive maps and increased functionality. At the end of 2009, Top Inn's mother or father company, Whitbread, announced that it blueprints, by 2020, to lessen its CO2 emissions by 26 %. This is the company's first declaration of objective on carbon reduction and can form an important part of its `Good Along' commercial sustainability strategy. At exactly the same time, Whitbread reported that from 2007 to 2009, the company advanced its carbon efficiency by four per cent which is equivalent to saving 8, 562 tonnes of CO2 or taking 2, 446 automobiles off the road. In recognition of this achievement, Whitbread has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard which is the world's first prize that will require organisations to assess manage and reduce their carbon footprint and make real reductions year-on-year. Top Inn has launched its first hotel in India and by the end of 2009 and announced plans to open nine further hotels in India within the next five years. It aims to capitalise on the country's growing business traveller market. Presently there are a limited variety of budget hotel brands in India so this presents a good chance for Premier Inn, using its strong hotel model.
ANALYSIS AND REAULTS:
Premier Inn has been providing living room services to the client. Premier Inn has given the money back guarantee if the client isn't satisfied with the area services. But still Premier Inn is unable to provide the smoking rooms as many of the hotels in present do. Though it is good in the security perspective still this can be one of the factors that can increase the quantity of regular customers and help in the business enterprise.
Premier Inn has got lots of varieties of food available to provide to its customers but nonetheless it's lacking something. Top Inn is not being able to provide particular foods to the specific condition like diabetics, pressure, etc. Likewise Leading Inn food menu struggles to provide food menu relating to the faith. Muslims eat Halal while Christians don't. Which means that Leading Inn is without this field as well. Now Premier Inn has been able to provide refreshments of different region but it hasn't been able to provide food of overall around the world. At this period of time one hotel can't only think of providing British food to the customers because people from whole over the world come to go to UK. But leading Inn struggles to supply the specific regional foods to the customers. Now though Leading Inn has a few of vegetarian foods in its menu but it was not in a position to provide specific vegetarian food menus to the customers. Leading Inn isn't being able to provide varieties of food as it does using its rooms. That's why Premier Inn is unable to assure in its food as it can in its rooms.
CONCLUSION AND RECCOMENDATIONS:
Even though Leading Inn lacks in some aspects it can be determined as the most notable hotel chain company in UK but nonetheless it is not perfect. If it can adopt the measures mentioned previously I believe it could be the perfect hotel string in UK.
