This research newspaper targets the similarities and differences of private and general public institution education. It deciphers several truths and realities associated with both of these systems. Hazards and benefits along with teacher's credentials in private and general public schools are talked about in detail. Another factor brought to light is the positive role enjoyed by enough resources in the betterment of private sector and the loss it has incurred to general population sector education system.

Introduction

Parents always face this query if they should choose a private school or open public schools. They want best for their children which is a normal understanding that private institutions are way better than public schools in terms of quality and academics brilliance. Although problems are present in both the sectors but anticipated to adequate resources in private system of education, these problems can be minimized and their unfavorable impact can be reduced as compared to public sector. Despite the positive and negative similarities and distinctions in private and general public schools, these adequate resources in private sector impels visitors to believe that private education is a much better option.

Program for International Learner Assessment (PISA) can be an international research launched by OECD. The program aims to evaluate education system throughout the world (Anonymous, PISA). Their studies have consistently shown that private institution students perform better than students from open public schools. The research conducted by PISA has reported that is due to the socio monetary backgrounds of the students. Nevertheless the growing level of popularity of private sector universities cannot be denied but other than the shortage of funds many other factors ignore the reputation of public schools. Some of these factors are mentioned below.

Bullying in Private Consumer Schools

Bullying is a psychological concept that includes acts of meanness, dangers and physical assaults (Nan). That is a common happening in our schools but many studies have reported that public school students are more susceptible to bullying than private university students. Bulk private schools spend money on anti-bullying programs to further minimize the number of such incidents. The state laws also cover these issues but in public colleges it is difficult to execute such guidelines because of insufficient qualified staff. These laws against bullying do not cover the private classes so normally each private university has to makes its own policy against this subject. At private universities there are definitely more professors per students which makes it much easier to detect such problematic situations (Roddy). In addition to that private colleges have better facilities, resources and sufficient time to focus on these issues.

Risk and Benefits in public areas and Private Schools

Public schools are cost free and they are open to all students. Even a minimal who cannot spend the money for basic requirements of life can give the youngster education through these institutes. Alternatively each private university has its distinctive entrance procedure and higher tuition payment, so they only amuse students from higher or above average economic background. Private institutions normally place high standards and better services to train students to stand out in future. So they are normally high achievers as compared to public university students. They are more likely to complete a bachelor's or advanced degree by their middle-20s. This is also visible from the info given below.

Why do people prefer private colleges over public universities? Apart from the difference in the quality of education another factor is the safe practices of the students. That is a major risk factor associated with open public schooling. Although this problem is also within private schools but the situation is way better there as shown in the chart below:

These statistics evidently indicate the distance between general public and private institutions in context of safety. It is rather very important to students to have a safer environment for healthy learning and development. The concerned parents will never opt a college where the safety of the youngster is at risk and in case there is any doubt they might definitely flip towards private school if it's affordable for the kids.

Classes Size in Private and General public School

Ideally class size should be small because this influences the learning behavior. A single teacher can only deal with a certain variety of students at onetime. Many studies and studies have shown that reduction in class size has resulted in higher performance of students ( Reese). Although many other factors are also important and this cannot be called as a significant factor that enhances learning but it continues to be an essential requirement. As public classes are open for everyone so they may have normally overly packed classes. These large measured classes hinder learning of individuals. The mental level and capacity is different of each university student and teacher should have abundant time to concentrate on every student.

This is not the case in private institutions as there are small measured classes and instructors focus on specific students and they do not feel isolated. The problem is that private academic institutions charge way more they may be in a better position to provide better facilities and equipment. This may also be taken the other way round since as the cost framework in private universities is not affordable for most of the parents so they have to turn towards public schools which over burdens the general public sector.

Special Need Students

Many internal, physical, mental and behavioral disorders lead to difficulty in learning and problems of concentration in special need students (Walford). These special need students require extra services and better facilities to boost their condition so they may possibly also enjoy a normal, healthy lifestyle. Although most areas have special laws and regulations regarding these special students to provide them quality education for free. But in spite of all these express and federal laws there were complaints about the machine in the publicly possessed special universities. Many parents have been reported who were obligated to go private to provide their child with special needs a quality lifestyle. The number of publicly held special schools is declining because they lack appropriate facilities to educate and help students with special needs. Special education requires trained personnel and therapists and advanced training systems but generally public schools fail to provide these services. Another drawback of the general public special schools is that the parents cannot choose. The admission is a quite complex procedure and only the state makes a decision that where institution wills a certain college student are certain to get enrolled. This limits their choice and so they would definitely go for a private school of their own choice.

Teachers Credentials in Private and Public Schools

Just like parents teachers are also accompanied by difficulty of choosing between private and general population universities. This field is a competitive one as you can find more variety of teachers than the jobs available. The public school teachers need to be certified by the state of hawaii to hold the position in the institution but this isn't the truth in private college system. Each private university working individually of state follows its hiring procedure. A couple of private schools do not demand tutor certification from the state of hawaii as their regulating body has not imposed such restrictions.

The pay structure is also a notable difference between private and open public schools. The state laws mostly identify the pay framework and all schools have to check out them. The general public schools funding originates from taxes plus they often have to go through major cuts in the pay framework. This demotivates the staff working in the general public schools. On the contrary the source of financing in private universities is the private celebrations and so they rarely face a lack of cash. The tuition fees are so high that private academic institutions somehow manage to keep their teaching staff satisfied nonetheless they never bargain on competence and efficiency.

Conclusion

So on the whole private and general population schools will work on a single grounds as they are both following the state regulations to an scope but the degree of autonomy that both sectors face separates their paths in the training sector. Mainly private schools are working separately and are self-reliant to make changes in the system. As opposed to private schools, general public colleges lack this opportunity and are reliant on government financing. Thus, they are simply part of a bureaucratic structure and lack competitive skills. This increases the difference between general population and private schooling and therefore create inequality in the contemporary society.
