Findings

For our research purpose we went to Malnicherra Tea House, talked to the managers, other employees, and also with the labors. They talked to us, distributed their views and reviewed about some problems they face. From our study what things we have found are reviewed below.

The officers are content with the salary they are getting. Also, they are happy with other facilities they are receiving from your garden.

The income of the workers are not enough to fulfill their needs.

Educational condition in the tea garden is inadequate. Tendency toward the training is also suprisingly low.

The management staffs are getting both face to face and off the work training but the training for the labor are not in reasonable level. Sometimes they get vocational training.

Along with the salary officers of Tea garden are receiving yearly bonus, profit reward, and other benefits such as home, medical, vehicles etc.

The labors are getting free housing service, medical service, and education up to major level.

Technologically the organization is much calf behind.

Training facilities for lower level labors is suprisingly low.

The environment within the estate is unpredictable.

Sometime the management face problem with employees. They solve it by negotiation.

Employees' safety face to face should be improved upon.

Concluding thoughts

Tea industry at present is an important industry in Bangladesh. It is the field where plenty of people will work. This industry brings a great deal of foreign currency each year. This foreign currency depends on the performance of these people who gave a great deal of contribution to the whole the year long. So, it's important to keep those recruiting with the correct training and development program and with proper maintenance tools. It is also important to make use of the latest and modernized method in the tea garden to keep pace with other countries of the world. For the development of the garden the management should turn out from the previous system and should adapt new modern tools.

Recommendations (From managerial perspective)

According to the director there should be more training for the employees. As after training the knowledge increase to enhance the quality and production there should be more training program.

The infrastructure of the gardens should be improved. Relating to him sometimes specially in the rainy season they face some problem. Highway should be developed such that it become easy to work. Field development is also needed.

Though some modern machines they are using to produce the tea but there should be some other modern tools to increase the quality and raise the production.

According for some manager there exists shortage of staff in the gardens. Staff should be increased.

There should be computer service in the tea gardens. It'll facilitate the work in the gardens.

Training program for lower level labor should be increased.

Recommendations (From labor perspective)

Their housing is not hygienic and sanitation is not so satisfactory. They need the better condition of these regards.

Most of the labor needs to educate their children. They can be just getting the primary education free. They want more education after the completion of most important education. They also wants that your garden will carry this cost. Because their wage is not so enough to keep the study of their children.

Our recommendations

It is needed to develop the infrastructure of the complete garden.

All the gardens need to use the Computer centered it to keep and store information.

The employee and the labor should become more trained.

Take step to encourage the employees to increase productivity.

Quality and level of training programs should be increased.
